Unakoti
Unakoti is a Shaiba pilgrimage place and dates back to the 7th – 9th century. The marvelous rock carvings, murals with their primitive beauty, waterfalls are not to be missed. Unakoti is a distance of 178 km from Agartala and 8 km from Kailashahar, district headquarters of North Tripura District. Every year a big fair popularly known as ‘Ashokastami Mela’ is held in the month of April which is visited by thousands of pilgrims.
Tripura Sundari Temple
Tripura Sundari Temple is located in Udaipur, the district headquarters of the South Tripura district. This temple is one of the 51 pithasthans in India as per Hindu mythology. In the eastern side of the temple, there is a famous Kalyan Sagar where large fish and tortoise are found and devotees feed them with "muri" and biscuits. Fishing is not permitted in the Kalyan Sagar. Every year on Diwali, a famous Mela takes place near the temple which is visited by more than two lakh pilgrims.
Fourteen Goddess Temple
The Fourteen Goddess Temple is located at a distance of 14 Km from Agartala at a place called Old Agartala. Near the sacred 14 goddess temple during the month of July, every year a Kharchi festival is organised and thousands of pilgrims and devotees visit this festival.
Bhuvaneswari Temple
The Bhuvaneswari Temple is situated at Udaipur. The temple finds close literary reference in Great poet Rabindranath Tagore’s novels and drama namely ‘Bisharjan’ and ‘Rajarshi’.
Benuban Vihar
This attractive Buddhist destination is located in Kunjaban area in the northern part of the city of Agartala. Benuban Vihar is a Buddhist shrine having metals of Lord Buddha. The monastery is one of the beautiful shrines located in the state. Buddha Jayanti is celebrated with great festivity and devotion here. The shrine bears the testimony to the fact that this shrine is clincher of Tripura’s hospitality and patronage to the religion and culture of its neighbors.
Mahamuni Pagoda
This is a Buddha temple located at Manubankul village on the north eastern part of Sabroom sub division of South Tripura. The monastery has the Buddhist religious architecture. The monastery was constructed under the leadership of Mathu Mog a long time back. A famous week long fair takes place in the month of March and April.This temple and the fair attract many Buddhist and non Buddhist pilgrims from across the state and the neighboring places. The traditional Mahamuni and Owha festivals are celebrated here where Lord Buddha is worshipped by both Buddhist and Hindu communities. This place is located around 134 kms from Agartala and 25 kms from Sabroom. The nearest railhead is in Mahamuni located 255 kms away.
Gopinath Temple
The biggest temple in Mahadev Ban premises is the Gopinath temple. The entrance to the temple is facing southward and was built by Maharaja Kalyan Manikya in 1650 AD and dedicated it in the name of Gopinath. According to local residents, it is a deserted temple of Chaturdosh Devata. The temple stands on a paved platform and was built in the form of stupas as the core chambers.There is an Aamlak resembling a small pitcher or a receptacle on the stupa on the stupa of the vestibule which once used to bear a gold pitcher. The entrance through the wall around the temple features a slanting roof and a bow shaped vault arched above the gateway. The design carved above the vault resembles a blooming lotus.
Hari temple
This temple is situated by the east bank of Jagannath Dighi. The temple has been built on an elevated paved platform and is built facing the west and is surrounded by a wall. The bi-roofed vault of temple leads to a courtyard and then to the vestibule. Two buttresses decorated with pitchers on them stand at the two corners of the vestibule.The vestibule leads to the internal chamber and the core chamber which is tetragonal in shape. The apical part of the vestibule and the core chamber were built in the form of stupa. After being designated as Hari Mandir, the Dol festival is celebrated here every year.
Nager Dol
This place has two abandoned temples in the eastern part of Chakbazar in the heart of Udaipur town. These two temples are popularly known as ‘Nager Dol’. The doors of both the temple faces southward and was supposed to be built sometime during the 17th century as Vishnu temples. The vestibules of both the temples have undergone a lot of damage with time.Vishnu Temple
This is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by Ramdev Manikya in 1677. The temple is situated on the southern side of the old palace and was built by Ramdev Manikya with the intention of his father Govinda Manikya’s ascent to heaven. The apical part of the stupa above the core chamber is now destroyed though the vestibule or the external chamber is still intact.Kamalasagar (Kashaba) Kali Temple
Built during the reign of Maharaja Dhanya Manikya, the Kamalasagar (Kashaba) Kali Temple was vbuilt in the 15th century on a hill top. The lake in the front of the temple is a beauty to look at. The beauty of the temple is enhanced due to the presence of the Kamalasagar lake and tourists love to visit the place over and over again. Not only is it a religious spot but also a place of outing for friends and family.Laxmi Narayana Temple
The main temple of Laxmi Narayana temple was constructed years back by the royal family of Tripura. The Laxmi Narayana temple is registered under the Indian Antiquity Act. Legends say that the temple is closely associated with the life sport of Lord Krishna. The temple attracts devotees from places far and wide.Jagannath Temple
The prime feature of this temple is its extremely flawless architectural feat. Pilgrims do visit the temple for devotion as well as to witness the beauty of the temple with the impression of pradhkshin patha round the sanctum.
Chandrapur Mosque( Rajnagar)
Chandrapur Mosque was restored in the year 1992 by the initiative of the government of India. The construction of the Rajnagar Masjid is considered to be done by the Mughal Army which had invaded Tripura in the 17th Century. The Mosque is a monumental treasure of Tripura that attracts a lot of visitors.Gedu Mia's Mosque

Mariam Nagar Church
Mariamnagar is actually a historic place in the midst of which is located the historic Mariam Nagar Church. This church was once used by the Portuguese settlers in Tripura. In the 16th century, Portuguese had settled here to help the Tripura King in a war. And this 169 years old church, is a standing remnant of the old Tripura and is a place of worship and a structure of beauty even today.
